USG Ceiling Tiles
USG ceiling tiles are made by USG a Chicago based company known to be the second largest supplier of ceiling tiles and ceiling systems after Armstrong ceiling tiles. The range of USG ceiling tiles is quite large and comparable to Armstrong, it is often used as an equivalent replacement for Armstrong ceiling specifications. USG offers traditional, contemporary and Victorian styles in 2x2 or 2x4 ceiling tiles and suspended ceiling panels of various shapes.
These days you can find alternative materials used in production of ceiling tiles. Our preferred choice is Polystyrene ceiling tiles often called Styrofoam ceiling tiles. However when selecting one make sure it is made in USA and has all required fire ratings, mainly class A based on ASTM E84 testing.
